Those of you who know Deklan at all, know that he has been in love with sharks most of his life. Well, this week is shark week on discovery. Tonight before dinner Jonathan and Deklan sat down to watch Dirty Jobs (this is one of Deklan's favorite shows). The show took place in the arctic looking for Greenland sharks.
A few minutes after we started watching Mike Rowe and the team caught a Greenland shark. They pulled her up and she was bleeding badly. Deklan started crying. He was so upset that the shark was hurt and she was going to die we had to turn it off. He loves sharks and has a very sensitive heart.

That would have been Tyler--he has always been the sensitive one in the Todd house. He came to our room the other night in tears, saying that for some reason he had flashed back to the time we went to the Titanic exhibit at COSI and he saw that wall covered with the names of the passengers who perished. He can definitely empathize with Deklan.
