The market, the aquarium, the harbor boat tour

My family left Seattle on Wednesday (and yes they made it home safe). It was a crazy, whirlwind vacation. It will probably take several posts to write about everything we did.

Wednesday (the 25th) my parents arrived in Seattle. Dana Mastro also came for a visit. Once all bags were unloaded and we all had a bite to eat we headed for downtown.

Jonathan met us at Pike Place Market. Here is Dana, Deklan, Mike, Jonathan, Merrick, Mary, Meg and my Dad in front of the sound.Meg, Mary and my Dad in front of some flower vendors at the market.Merrick wasn't happy, so the fish throwing guy tried to cheer him up. Deklan said "it's a crab for a crab!"

Thursday we got up and after a trip to the grocery store we headed downtown again to visit the aquarium.

We said good-bye to Dana and then hung around on the water front until Jonathan got off work.
Mike was playing with the camera and took this funny picture of my dad :)
If that wasn't enough for the day, we went on what they call the harbor boat cruise. It is an hour long trip around the sound with brief history of Seattle.
After the boat trip Jonathan thought it would be a good idea to walk to pioneer square.
And there you have it the first day and a half of their visit.
