Mother's Day

I am writing this post separately because I didn't want to take away from Jonathan's mobile by talking about Mother's Day.



The day started off very nice with Deklan and Jonathan giving me homemade cards. They got me a Nikon Coolpix camera but I got it last weekend. What did Merrick give you ask? Well, he woke up every 45 minutes all night long. So his was the gift that kept giving.

The boys committed to making scones for life group after church. So we all got up and went to the kitchen to cook. It was really fun to be in there all together.

We got cleaned up and went to church. It was also Pentecost and we had a really nice service. Once we left church we went to life group. We really enjoy our group and they have really made us feel welcome. 2 houses down from them is a house for sale. So out of curiosity, I went and got a paper. Well, it was 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, partially finished basement for only (are you ready for this?) $415,000. And my first response was "oh that is reasonable." I can't believe how different housing is here. Oh well, I can dream.

After life group we went to Kohl's. I really needed to find some pants that wouldn't fall down. We went home, ordered pizza and hung out till bed. I got to snuggle with both boys till they fell asleep. It was a very nice mother's day.

I am so lucky that I get to be the mom of the 2 sweetest boys in the world.
