Davitra and Meghan met us at the hospital at 7am this morning and took care of Merrick the whole time. It was such a blessing to have the help.
Here is a before picture with Dr. Turtley. Dr. T (as the anesthesiologist called him) went into surgery with Deklan to help the doctors. Turtley even got a hospital bracelet just like Deklan's.
Here is Deklan getting ready to leave the hospital. You can't tell in this picture but Deklan took his hospital gown home with him. He asked the nurse and she said they had plenty if he wanted it :)

Glad it's over and done. I guess it's too much to hope that they sent Dr. Turtley home with him too?!

Deklan made Turtley at build-a-bear on his birthday last week. When we were at the store I bought the Dr. outfit as a surprise. I dressed Turtley in it after Deklan went to sleep last night. The hospital staff thought Turtley was the cutest thing! A nurse asked me if I made the outfit. Uh-no!
