Softball

After Jonathan ruined his arm last year at the alumni tournament, I thought his softball career might be over. But Monday night he was back on the field.

We had dinner before the game at Michael and Halle's house. They had a funny little dog named Rocco. He weighed about 4 pounds and was crazy. But Rocco and Merrick played nicely eating each other's toys :)

Deklan had a great time at the game. There was a nice playground he played on for awhile. Then he watched the game from behind home plate. Then he made a friend and the two of them played catch the rest of the night.

Our team won. I have no idea what the final score was (something like 40 to 7). Deklan and Merrick were so tired that they both slept the whole way home.

Sorry Jonathan this is such a bad picture of you batting but Merrick was screaming and it was hard to hold him and take a pictures.
